Looking to increase his brand awareness and make a mark on the track as an up-and coming motorsports driver, Sam Mayer teamed up with Capture Sports Marketing to engage with current and potential fans. Capture Sports revamped his website to increase actions and helped create a strategic social media channel and content strategy that has increased Twitter impressions by 218% and Facebook engagement by 223% in just a month.

The Story

The thunder of the engine just barely drowns out the roar of the crowd as Sam waits for the signal to go. Thousands of fans fill the bleachers, cheering as the drivers start their engines, but Sam is focused on one thing – the finish line. At just 15 years old, Sam Mayer is the youngest driver on his team and has a lot to prove as he races against some of the best drivers around the world.

Joining the JR Motorsports championship-winning Late Model program for the 2018 season, Sam is at the top of his game. He won the 2018 Bojangles’ Summer Shootout championship at Charlotte Motor Speedway, consistently finishing in the top-three throughout the series. During the first of two 40-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model features at Hickory Motor Speedway, Sam took home his first win with JR Motorsports and just a month later won the Solid Rock Carriers 123 at Wake County Speedway for his first CARS Tour victory.

In 2019, Sam will compete part-time in the ARCA Series and full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. As Sam begins to rise the ranks, Capture Sports is setting him up for success as the team strategically helps introduce Sam to potential partners, developed brand messaging and create a social media plan that will build rapport with fans and give him a national platform as he moves up in motorsports. As he continues to find success, Capture Sports is raising awareness and engagement for Sam’s platform, opening the doors to potential sponsorship relationships.
